Better Alt Tracking In The UI?

Posted by: Kibibi   in WoW Insider

Speaking of the number of characters in our guild, I read THIS post from WoW Insider today, talking about how Blizzard should have some kind of official alt-tracking feature. Man, that would be sweet! I know as it is, our officers just use the member notes to keep track of who is a main, and who is an alt. Which, admittedly, isn’t all that bad. I use Guild FU to tell me, among other things, the note attached to the character, which usually tells me who the alt belongs to.

It would also be nice to know when the character joined the guild, and other information like that.Never the less, it would be nice to have better tracking features built-in to the game itself. For example, there’s no easy way to find out just how many ‘mains’ we have, along with how many alts that main has. Maybe in Wrath we’ll see some of those more advanced features, though I’m not holding my breath.
