I usually don’t post videos of in-game footage, especially beta. However, I thought this one by Big Red Kitty deserved to be shown. Of course, come Wrath, hunters will be able to tame all sorts of ‘exotic’ pets. So far, the biggest is this bad boy; the rhino! It’s… massive. I mean, there really is no other way to describe it. I know a lot of us have hunter alts, and being able to tame exotic pets like this huge rhino would be a, ‘massive’ incentive to dust them off again.

The Wrath cinematic is out, and that means it’s probably only a few months until the actual expansion is released. Every week, a flood of information smacks us in the face, reminding us big changes are coming all around. It seems like every day, the hype for the expansion is getting bigger and bigger. Like many people, I’m starting to prepare for his wrath. Read the rest of this entry »
Mod Updating Woes

It’s kind of funny, seeing Blizzard implementing things like an in-game calendar system and threat meter. It almost looks like they’re trying to cut down on the most-frequently-used mods. For our guild especially, Group Calendar and Omen are two of the biggest mods that we need, and require frequent updating. (Omen, epecially!) It used to be, we could update a large portion of our mods through WowAceUpdater, though now it looks like that’s going to die here fairly soon. What other options are out there? Vacation For Me

I’ll be ‘AFK’ on a small vacation to visit friends in Ohio Tuesday-Saturday this week. Don’t fret though, as I’ve set up the blog to post at least one thing a day for the rest of the week. So, keep checking the blog for a new update every day. I’ll be back posting fresh(er) content Monday of next week. Until then, enjoy what I’ve cooked up for y’all.
Raiding! The Finale

Here we are! It’s the last post in this series and it’s more or less a wrap-up of everything else we talked about, as well as a few other things I thought I’d throw in…

Raiding! Inside

We’re winding down now! You’ve got the gear, the enhancements and the consumables now. You’re just going to go in and just pwn everything in there, right? RIGHT?! Well, not necessarily. Raiding is very different from even heroic 5-man groups. In this post, I want to talk specifically what goes on in a raid, and what to generally expect.

Raiding! Consumables

So far, we’ve looked at just your gear. What about you? (Well, not you specifically but your character.) In this post, we’re going to talk about various consumables. In this case, we’re going to talk about the various consumables that directly affect your character like food, drinks, bandages, elixirs, flasks, potions, and scrolls.

Raiding! Your Gear

Welcome back to RAIDING!, where I’m going to talk about how to get started, improve, and master heroics and raiding in general. Prior, I talked about the very basics of what heroics/raids are. Today, we’re to talk about one of the most important factors of doing this end-game content: gear!

Raiding! The Basics

Welcome all to a new series of posts I’m working on. For some people, they’ve only had a taste of instances, maybe never even got to touch a heroic, let alone level-70 raids like Karazhan. This series is for those people wanting to know more about how these things work, and how you can be better at it. Let’s go over some of the basics today…

Leveling Made Easier

Do you think Blizzard hasn’t gone far enough to help leveling characters 1-60, or not far enough? For someone who has multiple alts, I can honestly say that I’m fairly happy with the current situation. For my shaman, I’m almost at level 40. Questing with her has been an absolute pleasure, and it’s gone pretty quickly when I buckle-down and quest like the server’s going down tomorrow. Could it be faster? Sure! Though, I don’t expect that to become a possibility until Wrath comes out. Read the rest of this entry »
