What The Heck Is A Blog?
Have you ever been to WoW Insider/Engadget/Lifehacker? They are all blogs, too. Think of them kind of like web sites, but only with a couple static pages, but many many ‘posts’ which are kind of like journal entries. These days, blogs are meant to be websites that have ‘running updates.’ So, there is a constant stream of new information being pushed out to the reader.
What You Will Find Here
For right now, it’s a healthy mix of information pulled from our forums/website, along with some fresh content I’ve built on my own. Soon, you’ll see at least weekly postings on our blog with game news, member updates, etc. The goals is to have the forums and the blog feed off of each other synergetically.
For ECC Members
There’s a ton of information in them, but even I acknowledge the forums can be a bit intimidating to go through. Never the less, there are many posts that members need to be aware of. I’ve gone through many of the more ‘important’ posts, refreshed them, added a lot of links in most cases and reposted them on this blog. You can click HERE to get to our Links page. Right now you’ll see a sampling of links in a few categories like:
- Blogroll: Typically has links to other WoW-Related blogs.
- Fun!: Links to web sites that are fun, or just out of the scope of the other categories.
- Guides: Has links to various guides to help you with your professions, classes, quests, leveling, gold, etc. (I might make professions their own category soon.)
- Guild Links: Simply, links to various parts of our own sites (and a few outer sites) that pertain specifically to our guild
- Instance Information: Quick links to instance walk-throughs, etc.

Some of you may have gotten to the blog via our website. When you access the blog this way, the website will wrap itself around the blog.
