Bah! We ended up getting the bitch down to 1%! (He actually probably less than that, even.) In the end, we called it shortly after 11PM. Although we walked out of the instance without a head of Gruul, we learned a lot about the fight, and just how well some inexperienced players can come together and mesh well with us. Even I had some doubts as to whether or not we’d even get to start this raid, let alone down the first boss. Never the less, we got 25 well-geared players and headed into Candy Mountain Gruul’s hole in the mountain. While we didn’t actually clear everything, we can damn-close and I’m very proud our guild was able to quickly learn from our mistakes and improve on every wipe.
