Required & Recommended Mods

Ex Cinis Cineris only requires our members to use two mods which are listed below. Other than that, we will only recommend a few others…

The Two Required Mods

Below are the only two mods we require our members to use, but both use extremely little resources…

RPGO-CharacterProfiler: Our guild requests from our members that they upload some data into our Guild Roster. (Though data like what’s in your bags/bank, can be excluded.) We do this primarily because it allows any of our members to see what everyone can make, what their talents are, their class, etc. (Much more data than what is currently available in the WoW Armory.) You can find the latest version HERE on Curse.

GroupCalendar: This is our event manager. Our members schedule parties, instances, raids, meetings and other events with this handy add-on. In addition to that, it can also track when certain items you can make are available. (It can track the cool down of mooncloth, for example.) You can find the latest version HERE on Curse.

Other “Heavily Reccomended” Mods

These other mods/add-ons/outside programs aren’t required, but are heavily recommended

Identity
It’s no secret many of us in the guild are ‘alt-a-holics.’ To help everyone know how we are, Identity can help with that. What it basically does is stick some text in parentheses before your actual message in guild chat. So for example, instead of ‘(Ambros):’ you get ‘(Ambros): (Kibibi).’ Though, you can put in anything you want, like what your status is (Questing). You can find the latest version HERE on Curse.

Omen (Or Other Threat-Meter)

This add-on is great because it shows you exactly how much ‘threat‘ you are generating in the game. Extremely useful, and just about a requirement if you’re in instances/raids. You can find the latest version HERE on Curse.

Ventrilo
OK, so ‘Vent,’ isn’t exactly a mod or an add-on. Never the less, it’s just as important as it’s a voice chat program. (Yes, WoW offers an in-game client, but Ventrilo is better.) You can download the latest version HERE, and find the instructions on how to connect to our private server HERE. (You must be a registered guild member to see the instructions. Look for Kitcat’s post 12/18/07) Understandably, not everyone has a mic, but instances/raids go much smoother when the leaders can verbally give instructions.
